But we aren’t satisfied with the processed macaroni that comes out of the box, and you shouldn’t be either. We believe mac and cheese can be dazzling, gourmet, and delicious, and with one bite, you’ll never go back to the box again.

Monster Mac uses a cloud kitchen model, meaning we only do the delivery, and our food isn’t available for dine-in. We focus solely on the quality of our food and delivering that quality straight to your door. We spent time formulating our menu so we could offer the perfect combination of options to please every guest, from the pickiest eater to the most adventurous foodie. 

Our Classic Mac is a traditional mac and cheese, but don’t let the name fool you: classic is far from boring. Our Classic Mac is creamy, melty, gooey, and delicious and provides the base for many of our other signature creations. It’s just like Mom used to make, only better (don’t worry, we won’t tell if you don’t).

The Loaded Beast, made with bacon, green onions, crème fraîche, fried shallots, and roasted garlic chips, is another customer favorite. Just like mac and cheese, bacon is a staple of the American diet, and we spend about $5 billion on bacon every year. We wanted to create a dish that celebrates bacon, pairing it with smooth melted cheese, crème fraîche, and pops of crunch from the fried shallots and roasted garlic. 

For guests with fancier palettes, we recommend our Truffle Mac, a gouda mac and cheese with truffle oil, grilled portobello mushrooms, and shredded parmesan. Truffle oil is a luxurious, flavorful delicacy, and the Truffle Mac makes it the star of the show. The portobello mushrooms and the parmesan perfectly compliment the truffle, and with each bite, you’ll get bursts of truffle flavor that keep you coming back for more. 

The Street Mac, traditional mac and cheese with Mexican street corn, queso fresco, roasted peppers, and cilantro, celebrates the traditional Mexican street food, elote. While Colorado is pretty far from the Mexican border, it doesn’t mean Denverites can’t enjoy classic, flavorful, authentic Mexican cuisine.

Sassafras American Eatery

Sassafras American Eatery is a Southern-inspired spot with great comfort food and amazing craft cocktails. They have two locations in Denver, the first opened in 2012, and the second shortly after in 2014. The Sassafras menu offers Southern favorites such as the Fried Green Tomatoes, the Fried Catfish Po’ Boy, and, of course, four different varieties of mac and cheese.

The Classic Mac is made with creamy cheese sauce and sharp cheddar and can be customized with bacon, andouille sausage, jalapeno, tomato, pickles, or blue cheese, all for an extra upcharge. The BBQ Mac, made with pulled pork, andouille, collard greens, spicy BBQ sauce, house-made pickles, and crispy fried onions, is about as Southern as you can get, with classic, comforting, stick-to-your-ribs BBQ flavors.

The Cajun Shrimp Mac, made with jumbo shrimp, andouille sausage, cajun cream sauce, jalapeno, tomato, and green onions, is spicy, creamy, and comes with huge chunks of delicious, tender shrimp. The customer favorite Breakfast Mac from the brunch menu is served with diced bacon, grits croutons, an over-easy egg, and sharp cheddar. Sassafras American eatery makes it clear that nobody knows mac and cheese quite like Southerners. Luckily for you, you can get a taste of the South right at home in Denver.

Tap & Burger

As the name suggests, Tap & Burger is known for its craft beers and gourmet burgers. They have three locations in Denver, with another opening soon. Sputnik

Open in Denver since 2003, Sputnik serves late-night comfort food with a vintage flair. They also offer a variety of vegan and vegetarian options, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions. 

Sputnik’s original Mac-n-cheese is made with a blend of cheddar and Monterey jack and is topped with green onion and Cheez-it crumbs for a crowd-pleasing crunch. They also have a Corn Dog Mac-n-cheese, served topped with their sliced corn dog, as well as a Vegan Corn Dog Mac-n-cheese. You may be thinking, vegan mac and cheese? The chefs at Sputnik have perfected the recipe, so much so that you may not even notice the difference.

Steuben’s

Steuben’s is a retro-style diner serving up American classics and craft cocktails. They pride themselves on offering famous dishes from cities across the county, like Nashville Hot Fried Chicken, the Cuban Sandwich, and the Cheesesteak. No matter what part of the U.S. you’re from, Steuben’s will have something that reminds you of home.

Although mac and cheese is enjoyed in cities all across the U.S., Steuben’s version is sure to remind you of home, no matter where you’re from. Steuben’s Macaroni and Cheese is made from elbow macaroni, a six-cheese bechamel sauce, and panko breadcrumbs. They also offer the option to add green chiles for some Tex-Mex flair.

The Hornet

The Hornet serves up fresh, local, farm-to-table eats for brunch, lunch, and dinner. They operate their own seasonal, organic farm, from which they source a variety of produce. They also pride themselves on offering a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, making it another great spot for those with allergies or preferences.

The Hornet’s claim to fame is their Lobster Mac n’ Cheese, with a cheese sauce made from cheddar, fontina, and cream, tossed with bacon and chunks of lobster meat, and topped with panko breadcrumbs. This dish is a must-eat for those who love lobster (so, everybody).
